Hope you all have a wonderful Valentines Day whether you are celebrating with your special someone or celebrating with some girlfriends! As for me I am spending my night babysitting and then having a movie night with some friends!
Speaking of movies I've decided to put together a list of my top 5 favorite Valentine's Day movies:
1. Serendipity
2. Pride & Prejudice
3. Ever After
4. 27 Dresses
5. 13 going on 30
These movies are the perfect Valentines Day movies because they will have you laughing, crying, and then laughing some more. So grab some girlfriends or a special someone, a bucket of popcorn, a pile of chocolate, a box of tissues, and some blankets to cozy on up for a perfect movie night!
Enjoy your day lovelies and make it one you wont forget!
This past weekend I had the opportunity to head to the Phillips arena in Atlanta, GA to unite with fellow Christ followers from all over the world at a conference called Passion. Ever heard of it? If not than this post is perfect for you because I will share what exactly is Passion and what cool things God is doing through Passion.
First, what is Passion? Well Passion is a conference that takes place in Atlanta, GA and in Houston, TX every year that is meant to be a place where college age students (18-25) can unite together in worshiping God. The weekend consists of six sessions, each session consists of amazing christian artists and speakers. Just to name a few....David Crowder, Hillsong, Matt Redman, Chris Tomlin and many more made appearances at this year's Atlanta Passion conference. The lineup of speakers included Louie Giglio, Francis Chan, Christine Caine, and John Piper.

The arena was completely sold out, meaning that there was 20,000 plus people in worshiping God in Atlanta this weekend. It is an unforgettable experience to worship along side so many others that are going hard after God. So many students gave their lives to God and devoted themselves to boldly proclaiming his name throughout all the world.
What I took away from Passion this year is that I will never be able to fully comprehend how undeserving I am of God's love, however I will also never be able to fully comprehend just how much I am loved by God. Jesus didn't die on 'the cross' but he died on 'MY cross'. God's wrath fell on Jesus obliterating our curse but guilt is over because by HIS wounds we are healed, believe it and receive it.
My prayer is that God will forge his image in me so that I will be able to fulfill the plans God has for me. The thing is that if we don't fully surrender our lives to God we will never be able to fully live our lives for God. I encourage all of you to go hard after God and let him work through you so that you can boldly proclaim God's name through all the Earth.
Hillsong played their song "Oceans" on Friday night and it really pulled at my heart. Click the play button above to give it a listen!
Spirit lead me where my trust is without borders
Let me walk upon the waters
Wherever you would call me
Take me deeper than my feet could ever wander
And my faith will be made stronger
In the presence of my Savior
The last thing I wanted to share with you is the End It Movement. Did you know that there is still $27 million people in slavery? That is more than ever before in our history! The End It Movement is a movement to shine a light on slavery and bring awareness to people that slavery still exists. Slavery wont end from awareness but it will never end without it.
To help spread the word about slavery on February 27th draw a red X on your hand.
If you are interested in going to a Passion conference the tickets for Passion in Houston are still on sale! Just click here to buy your tickets and for more information!
Rainy days are made for taking naps, watching movies, and of course for wearing hunter boots. I bought this lipstick pink pair of Hunter Boots in December and I am obsessed with them. These boots can be worn casually or you can even dress them up like I chose to with this chevron dress. Hunter boots can make any rainy day brighter so I would say they are a necessity for any closet.
This is my first outfit post for 2014 and so I wanted to take some time to share what my new year's resolutions are:
1) Spend more time in the bible and to grow closer to God.
With the craziness of the holidays I have really slacked off lately on reading my bible and spending time with God. My goal for this year is to be intentional about making sure to get in the word. When we don't spend time with God we become spiritually malnourished because we are starving ourselves from what we need which is God.
The challenge I have made for myself is to wake up and do my devotions rather than doing them at night which is what I normally do. My doing them in the morning I will be able to study and focus on the word of God without nodding off. This will also help me start my day off on the right foot.
I want to encourage all of you to also commit to getting in the word of God in 2014. Find the time in your day that works best for you and dig deep into the word. Let 2014 be the year that you develop a burning desire in your heart for God.
Psalm 119:97-103
Oh how I love your law! It is my meditation all the day. Your commandment makes me wiser than my enemies, for it is ever with me. I have more understanding than all my teachers, for your testimonies are my meditation. I understand more than the aged, for I keep your precepts. I hold back my feet from every evil way, in order to keep your word. I do not turn aside from your rules, for you have taught me. How sweet are your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth!
2) Get healthier.
Getting in good shape and becoming healthier seems to be on everyone's list of resolutions. I plan on becoming healthier by eating better and running more. I love to run but with my crazy schedule I don't get the chance to run as often as I would like. A while back I ran a 5k and had a blast. My goal is to sign up for more races and work my way up to a 10 miler this year and who knows maybe next year a marathon (26.2 miles).
Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going.
3) Grow my blog.
I started this blog back in the end of November to see if I liked the whole blogging thing, and it turns out I love it. Blogging has connected me with people who share the same style and interests as me and enabled me to meet some pretty cool people. My blog is still considered a baby in the blogging world so this year I plan on working to grow my blog by devoting more time to Glamour, Glitter, & Grace and posting more often. I would also like to grow my following since the only views I get is mainly from family and friends. (Hi Mom!) I hope you will join with me as I journey further into the blogging world and work to grow my blog. If you are a fellow blogger I'd love to connect with you so just comment your blogs url and give me a follow and I promise to follow back!
This New Year's Eve my friends and I decided to kick off the New Year Great Gatsby style. I aspire to be an event planner one day so I decided to take on all the decorations. It was a lot of work but it was a ton of fun getting ready for this party--it took a lot of balloons, streamers and a TON of glitter to pull it all off. Thank goodness I had my wonderful family to help me pull off all my crazy ideas, especially considering we made all the decorations ourselves. I think everyone should have a Gatsby party at least once in their life.
